Areas of Specialization

The field of real estate provides many ways to specialize our knowledge. Most agents have a high degree of geographical specialization - they know a lot about specific communities. There are other areas of real estate that call for a different knowledge base, that are not geographically based. We have spent many hours in classes and in the field learning about different specific aspects of real estate.

Commercial

With a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and an extensive background in Biotechnology for companies with products, Fred brings a lot of experience that cannot be learned from a text. He understand the laboratory needs of companies in biotechnology, as well as the warehousing needs of companies that manufacture, assemble and ship products. Additionally he has had extensive experience in leasing of commercial space.

In order to succeed in the commercial arena, additional resources and databases are required, and Fred has access to these resources.

Pre-foreclosure

Unfortunately, in today's economic environment, increasing numbers of people are facing loss of their propery because of their inability to make their mortgage payments. We work with an array of attorneys and mortgage specialists to help those facing foreclosure find the best path to follow during these challenging times in their lives. We do not charge for the counsel we give. If it is in the homeowner's best interest to sell their home, we have extensive experience with short sales and dealing with lenders.

NonProfit Agencies

The housing needs for non-profit and service agencies can be unique because of the populations they serve. Because of the need for multiple approvals for most of the decision points, the process is longer than with traditional residential or commercial transactions. Fred and Annette have extensive experience working with not-for-profit agencies and understand the dynamic that is required for success in this milieu.
