Foreclosure Information

Eastern Massachusetts has a number of bank-owned properties. As the lending institutions complete the foreclosure process, these houses are made available for sale. There is no archetypical bank-owned properties. Some are in decent condition. Many have sustained damage over the winter. If defects are found, the bank will generally NOT make repairs. These homes are sold "as-is, where-is" meaning what you see is what you get. Having said this, it is possible to find great value in bank-owned properties, assuming the purchaser can manage the risks.

This is where an agent experienced in dealing with banks and their properties is essential. Fred and Annette have helped buyers purchase a significant number of bank-owned and short-sale properties. We've become the experts.

This page is updated regularly with current lists of bank-owned properties in Eastern Massachusetts. If you are interested in any of these homes, just call us and we'll provide additional information for you, and help you through the purchase process.
